Doyle Group is primarily a design and build company that simply focuses on creating outstanding Homes, with un compromised quality.

We take existing homes and re-create them completely or build new from the start. We also work with customers that already have plans for renovations and new homes and want Doyle Group to complete the build. We have built over the years great relationships with Architects, Designers, Engineers and suppliers resulting in a Cooperative proven track record that is offered to all our potential clients.

The Company has designed, renovated and built new  homes itself for the speculative  market. This has allowed us to test our own design and quality build principals in the market place, our experience and cooperative knowledge is to your advantage. The speculative market has also given DG true appreciation of what you will require from the Company with your project, not only from design, construction, quality, communication, but more so the importance of timing and cashflow aspects of the job.

Director

I started work in the building industry in 1988, eventually settling into a  ten year career with a privately owned National Manufacturing and Construction Company.

During this time I learnt many skill sets, not only general carpentry, but also the many other facets that make up the complete building process, namely  entailing  Design, Manufacturing design, Engineering design,  Manufacturing processes , Site construction, Project  and Crew planning , Cost analysis , Permit applications –Resource and Building consents, with all Councils throughout NZ.

I designed in conjunction with a software programmer , NZ’s  first “CAD” automated drawing and manufacturing software system, three years in initial development, the first building software package to generate a bill of materials for production and manufacture from  a three dimensional (computer generated) building model drawn by the operator .

Over the ten years  with the company i fulfilled many positions however  my final  role as General Manager and shareholder was  my last with a decision to  leave  the Company in 2000 to start my own Development and Construction  Company.

Architectural draftsman – I have designed not only buildings for manufacture but through my own DG development ventures completed designs around constrictive Planning rules, difficult site attributes and finally following these designs through to full construction drawings ready for permit application. These skills have enabled me to appreciate quickly in the building process what the Architect wishes to visualise as the end product and the key detailing that is so often required to be correctly built.

Trade Qualified builder – As a trade qualified builder i am also proud to be a member of the Registered Master Builder Association and as such  be able to offer the numerous advantages  available to all our customers.  In particular the comprehensive 10 Year Premium Home Guarantee is proving invaluable in today’s volatile building environment.

Registered Certifying Drainlayer- With many of our projects in Auckland City and closely lying suburbs, drainage feasibility, design and construction has played a major factor. With trying to offer our customers further service, i am now also able to offer another service in house, being a qualified drainlayer, both private and public installations DG can now complete.

In all I have a passion for building and design, .... I look forward to working with our customers in achieving something very special, that is personally unique for them and most importantly being an enjoyable journey throughout.
